Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To express 'in the morning' or 'at [time]', use the Dative case suffix '-ին' (-in) attached to the noun.
- Add '-ին' to nouns of time: 'Առավոտ' (morning) becomes 'Առավոտին' (in the morning).
- For specific hours, use the number + 'ին': 'Ժամը ութին' (at eight o'clock).
- If the word ends in a vowel, use '-յին' for clarity: 'Օր' (day) -> 'Օրվան' (rare) or 'Օրվա ընթացքում'.
