Subordinating conjunctions link a dependent clause to an independent one, helping you express reasons, conditions, and contrasts clearly.
- Use 'өйткені' (because) to explain a reason: 'Мен келдім, өйткені сен шақырдың.'
- Use 'егер' (if) for conditions: 'Егер жаңбыр жауса, мен үйге қаламын.'
- Use 'бірақ' (but/although) for contrast: 'Ол шаршады, бірақ жұмысын бітірді.'
Meanings
Subordinating conjunctions are words that connect a dependent clause to an independent clause, establishing a logical relationship between them.
Causality
Explaining the reason for an action.
“Ол келмеді, өйткені жұмысы көп болды.”

Conditionality
Setting a condition for an action.
