Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Ukrainian personal pronouns replace nouns to identify the subject, and they change based on gender and number.
- Use 'Я' for 'I' regardless of your gender. Example: 'Я вчуся' (I am learning).
- Use 'Ти' for informal 'you' and 'Ви' for formal or plural 'you'. Example: 'Ви тут?' (Are you here?).
- Use 'Він/Вона/Воно' for he/she/it based on the noun's gender. Example: 'Він працює' (He works).
