Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the suffix -ir (or -ır, -ur, -ür) to describe actions happening right now or general habits.
- Add -ir to the verb stem: 'Gəl' (come) becomes 'Gəlir' (is coming).
- Use personal suffixes after the tense marker: 'Gəlirəm' (I am coming).
- For negative, add -mir before the tense: 'Gəlmirəm' (I am not coming).
