Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To turn a statement into a question in Armenian, simply raise your pitch at the end of the sentence.
- Keep the word order the same as a statement: 'Դու ուտում ես' (You are eating).
- Add a question mark at the end: 'Դու ուտում ես՞' (Are you eating?).
- Use rising intonation on the final verb to signal a question.
