Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use ပုံပေါ်သည် to describe how something looks or seems based on visual evidence or behavior.
- Attach to a verb or adjective using the attributive particle တဲ့ (te). Example: ကောင်းတဲ့ပုံပေါ်တယ်။
- Use ပုံပေါ်သည် (pon-paw-thee) for formal writing and ပုံပေါ်တယ် (pon-paw-te) for speech.
- Negative forms require the negative attributive particle တဲ့/မ...တဲ့. Example: မလာတဲ့ပုံပေါ်တယ်။
