Adverbs of Frequency (အမြဲတမ်း / တစ်ခါတစ်ရံ)
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Adverbs of frequency tell us how often something happens and usually sit right before the main verb.
- Always place frequency words before the verb: 'သူ အမြဲတမ်း စာဖတ်တယ်' (He always reads).
- Use 'တစ်ခါတစ်ရံ' for occasional actions: 'ကျွန်တော် တစ်ခါတစ်ရံ ရုပ်ရှင်ကြည့်တယ်' (I sometimes watch movies).
- Negative frequency uses 'ဘယ်တော့မှ' with a negative verb: 'သူ ဘယ်တော့မှ မလာဘူး' (He never comes).

Meanings
These words describe the regularity of an action. They help the listener understand the habit or frequency of the subject's behavior.
High Frequency
Actions that happen consistently.
