You can also write it in a message or card. It's versatile for expressing sympathy. It's a lovely way to show you're thinking of them. Don't overuse it, though. It's meant for sincere moments.

Avoid using قلبي معك in casual, lighthearted conversations. Don't say it if someone just misplaced their keys. That's not a situation for such deep empathy. It’s also inappropriate for expressing excitement or happiness. You wouldn't say it when someone gets a promotion. That calls for congratulations, not sympathy! And definitely don't use it sarcastically; that's just mean.

A common mistake is using it when the situation doesn't warrant such deep empathy. For example, saying قلبي معك because your friend is stuck in traffic. That’s a bit much! • Is it always serious? Mostly, yes. It carries emotional weight. Don't use it for trivial matters.
• Can I use it for strangers? Yes, if they're experiencing public hardship and you feel genuine empathy. Think of disaster victims.
