In words like 'સત્ય' (Satya), the 'Sa' becomes Guru because of the following 'tya'.

Wrong: Counting a conjunct consonant (Joḍākshar) as two separate beats.
Richtig: The consonant before a conjunct often becomes 'Guru' due to the stress.

If you don't pause at the Yati, the poem sounds like prose and loses its musicality.
