Adjectives with Definite Article
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Bulgarian, the definite article attaches to the end of the adjective, not the noun.
- If the noun is masculine, add '-ят' or '-ят' to the adjective: 'добрият човек' (the good man).
- If the noun is feminine, add '-та' to the adjective: 'добрата жена' (the good woman).
- If the noun is plural, add '-те' to the adjective: 'добрите хора' (the good people).
