In Bulgarian, most nouns ending in -о or -е are neuter, which helps you choose the right adjectives and pronouns.
- Nouns ending in -о are usually neuter: 'село' (village).
- Nouns ending in -е are usually neuter: 'море' (sea).
- Neuter nouns use the pronoun 'то' (it) when referring to them.

Neuter gender is one of the three grammatical genders in Bulgarian. It is used for inanimate objects, abstract concepts, and some young living beings.
Inanimate objects
