Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the Future Continuous to describe actions that will be in progress at a specific time in the future.
- Use for planned future events: 'আমি কাল এই সময়ে পড়তে থাকব' (I will be reading at this time tomorrow).
- Combine with a specific time reference: 'আগামীকাল বিকেলে আমরা ফুটবল খেলতে থাকব' (We will be playing football tomorrow afternoon).
- Negative form adds 'না': 'সে তখন ঘুমাতে থাকবে না' (He will not be sleeping then).
Meanings
This tense describes an action that will be ongoing at a specific moment in the future. It emphasizes the duration or the 'in-progress' nature of the event.
