Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Use the Present Perfect to talk about things you have done at any point in your life without saying exactly when.

  • Use 'have' or 'has' plus the past participle (V3) of the verb: 'I have traveled.'
  • Use 'ever' in questions to ask if an experience happened at least once: 'Have you ever...?'
  • Never use specific time words like 'yesterday' or 'in 2010' with this tense: 'I have seen it' (Correct).
👤 Subject + ➕ have/has + 🛠️ Past Participle (V3)

I went to Paris in 2019
I have been to Paris

Yes, I have worked with teams in three different time zones
I have never seen Squid Game

2
فاعل (Subject): شامل I ،You ،We ،They ،He ،She یا It.
3
کمک‌کننده (Helper): کلمات have یا has. یادت باشه که he/she/it خیلی حساسن و همیشه has می‌گیرن.

--- --- ---
Affirmative I have visited Rome.
Negative She hasn't (has not) tried sushi.
Question Have you ever met a celebrity?
Short Answer Yes, I have. / No, I haven't.

    I have traveled to Japan
!Our team has won the championship
!Your English has improved so much since we last spoke on WhatsApp
I have seen that Marvel movie five times
اگه از کلماتی مثل today ،this week ،this year یا so far استفاده می‌کنی، توی قلمروی Present Perfect هستی چون اون بازه زمانی هنوز تموم نشده.

    I have seen him yesterday
بگو I saw him yesterday.
    I have gone to Italy
  3. 3فراموش کردن Has: گفتن She have been مثل یه باگ توی سیستم میمونه. همیشه برای «سوم شخص مفرد» (He, She, It) از has استفاده کن.
گفتن I have went یه جنایت علیه گرامره! درستش I have gone هست.

Past Simple:
I ate a burger at 8 PM
Present Perfect: "I have eaten the world's largest burger" (این بخشی از کسیه که من الان هستم.

اگه داری ولاگ می‌گیری و می‌گی "Today we've explored three different temples«، داری از Present Perfect استفاده می‌کنی چون امروز هنوز تموم نشده. اگه ویدیو رو فردا آپلود کنی، باید بگی »Yesterday we explored three temples".

Q

هنوز (»I haven't been to New York yet").

Q

Did you eat yet؟
Have you eaten yet؟

Q

درسته بگیم "I've ever been« یا »Have you ever been"؟

I have ever been to Paris
I have been to Paris

I have performed a song

Alex: Have you ever tried that new VR game?

Sam: No, I haven't. Is it good?

Alex: It's amazing! I've played it every day this week.

Sarah: Has Mark gone to the airport yet?

Tom: Yeah, he's already left. He's probably on the plane by now.

`I saw` is for a specific time (e.g., yesterday). `I have seen` is for any time in your life.

No, `ever` is used for questions. In a positive sentence, just say `I have been to Spain.`

Use `has` for `he`, `she`, and `it`. Use `have` for all other subjects.

Yes, `I've` is the contraction. It is very common in spoken English.

It is the 'third form' of a verb (e.g., eat -> ate -> `eaten`).

No, that's a double negative. Say `I have never eaten` or `I haven't eaten`.

`Been to` means you went and came back. It's the standard way to talk about travel experience.

Put `Have` or `Has` at the beginning: `Have you ever...?`
