Connect your thoughts by using 'որովհետև' (because) for reasons and 'թեև' or 'չնայած' (although) for contrasts.
- Use 'որովհետև' to explain a reason: 'Ես ուրախ եմ, որովհետև արև է' (I am happy because it is sunny).
- Use 'թեև' or 'չնայած' to show contrast: 'Թեև անձրև է, ես դուրս եմ գալիս' (Although it is raining, I am going out).

Meanings
These conjunctions link a dependent clause to an independent clause to express cause or concession.
Causal (Because)
Indicates the reason for an action or state.
“Ես ուտում եմ, որովհետև քաղցած եմ։”
“Նա չեկավ, որովհետև զբաղված էր։”
Concessive (Although)
Indicates a contrast or unexpected result.
“Թեև ցուրտ է, նա դրսում է։”

Easily Confused
Both mean 'because/since', but usage differs in formality.
Both mean 'although', but 'չնայած' can also be a preposition.
