How to migrate to 16 KB pages

Today, I'll tell you everything to know to migrate your app to be compatible with 16 KB memory page sizes.

امروز همه چیزی که باید برای مهاجرت اپتون به سازگاری با اندازه صفحه حافظه ۱۶ کیلوبایتی بدونید رو بهتون می‌گم.

But first, let me explain to you what's memory page and how we'll program access memory.

اما اول اجازه بدید توضیح بدم صفحه حافظه چیه و برنامه‌ها چطور به حافظه دسترسی پیدا می‌کنن.

When your app reads or writes variables, it stores them in a volatile memory, known commonly as physical memory or RAM.

وقتی اپتون متغیرها رو می‌خونه یا می‌نویسه، اونا رو در حافظه فرار ذخیره می‌کنه که معمولاً به‌عنوان حافظه فیزیکی یا RAM شناخته می‌شه.

To simplify its organization and reduce waste space, data is stored in a fixed size block, and we call this block a memory page.

برای ساده‌تر کردن سازماندهی و کاهش فضای هدر رفته، داده‌ها در بلوک‌هایی با اندازه ثابت ذخیره می‌شن، و ما این بلوک رو صفحه حافظه می‌نامیم.

And on Android, historically, there are 4 KB each.

و در Android، از قدیم هر کدوم ۴ کیلوبایت بودن.

And when an app needs more memory, more memory pages will be allocated.

و وقتی یه اپ به حافظه بیشتری نیاز داره، صفحات حافظه بیشتری تخصیص داده می‌شه.

Each memory will have its own physical address to locate it inside the physical memory.

هر حافظه آدرس فیزیکی خودش رو داره تا مکانش توی حافظه فیزیکی مشخص بشه.
