Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
The Perfekt tense is the most common way to describe completed actions in the past by combining 'biti' and a past participle.
- Use the auxiliary verb 'biti' (to be) in the present tense: 'Ja sam radio' (I worked).
- Add the l-participle of the main verb: 'On je pio' (He drank).
- The l-participle must agree with the subject in gender and number: 'Ona je radila' (She worked).
