When a word starts with a hard consonant (k, c, t, t, p) after a vowel, it often softens into (g, j, d, d, b).
- K becomes G: 'Pulu' + 'kalu' -> 'Pulugalu'
- C becomes J: 'Manci' + 'cettu' -> 'Mancijettu'
- T/P becomes D/B: 'A' + 'puli' -> 'Abuli'
