The Accusative case marks the direct object of a verb or follows specific prepositions to show direction or location.
- Direct objects take the accusative: 'Văd un câine' (I see a dog).
- Prepositions like 'la', 'cu', 'pentru' trigger the accusative: 'Merg la școală' (I go to school).
- Most nouns don't change form, but pronouns often do: 'el' becomes 'îl' (him).
