Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Bulgarian, short object pronouns almost always sit directly before the verb.
- Place the pronoun before the verb: 'Аз го виждам' (I see him).
- In negative sentences, the pronoun stays between the 'не' and the verb: 'Аз не го виждам'.
- If there are two pronouns, the indirect object comes before the direct object: 'Дай ми го' (Give it to me).

Meanings
Short object pronouns (clitics) are used to replace nouns to avoid repetition and indicate the object of an action.
Direct Object
Replacing a direct object (accusative case).
“Обичам те.”
