Expressing Frequency (Честота)

Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Adverbs of frequency tell us how often an action happens and usually sit right before the verb.

  • Place the adverb before the verb: 'Аз често чета' (I often read).
  • Use 'никога' (never) with a negative verb: 'Аз никога не чета' (I never read).
  • For questions, keep the adverb near the verb: 'Ти често ли четеш?' (Do you often read?).
