Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Croatian, adjectives must match the noun's case; in the Locative case, masculine/neuter adjectives end in -om and feminine in -oj.
- Masculine/Neuter nouns take -om: 'u starom gradu' (in the old town).
- Feminine nouns take -oj: 'u lijepoj kući' (in the beautiful house).
- Plural adjectives always take -im: 'u velikim gradovima' (in big cities).
