Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Kazakh words are either 'Front' or 'Back', and your suffixes must match the vowel of the root word.
- Back vowels (а, о, ұ, ы) take back-vowel suffixes: 'бала-лар' (children).
- Front vowels (ә, ө, ү, і, е) take front-vowel suffixes: 'көл-дер' (lakes).
- The last vowel of the root word dictates the entire suffix chain.
