Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Use 'ရမယ်' (ya-mal) or 'ရမည်' (ya-myi) after a verb to express that something is necessary or mandatory.

  • Attach 'ရမယ်' directly to the verb base: 'သွားရမယ်' (must go).
  • Use 'မ...ရဘူး' for negative obligation: 'မသွားရဘူး' (must not go).
