Em resumo

When you're trying to quickly summarize what you just said, or transition to a summary, use the Portuguese expression em resumo.

You'll often hear this in spoken Portuguese, but it's also common in written Portuguese too, particularly in emails or reports. It's an easy and straightforward way to signal that you're about to give a summary of some preceding information. It can be placed at the beginning of a sentence.
