Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Verbs ending in -ať often follow the -ám pattern in the present tense: just drop -ť and add -m for 'I'.
- For 'I' (ja), drop -ť and add -m: 'čakať' becomes 'čakám'.
- For 'You' (ty), add -š: 'čakáš'.
- For 'He/She/It' (on/ona/ono), add -á: 'čaká'.
