§ 'کی؟' with the Direct Object Marker 'را'
When کی؟ is the direct object of a verb (meaning, the "who" is receiving the action), you use the direct object marker را (pronounced raa or often -o in spoken Persian). را always comes after the direct object.

Basic use of 'کی؟'
The most common way to use 'کی؟' is to simply ask 'Who?'. For example, if you hear a knock on the door, you can say 'کی؟' meaning 'Who is it?'
'کی؟' for people
'کی؟' is only used to ask about people. You would not use it to ask about objects or animals. For example, you wouldn't say 'کی؟' to ask what kind of car something is.
'کی؟' can be a standalone question
