Slovenian uses a special 'dual' form for exactly two people or things, distinct from singular and plural.
- Use the dual form when referring to exactly two people or objects: 'Midva hodiva' (We two are walking).
- The dual ending for most verbs in the first person is '-va': 'Delava' (We two are working).
- The dual ending for the second person is '-ta': 'Delata' (You two are working).

The dual is a grammatical number used in Slovenian to denote exactly two subjects, separate from the singular (one) and plural (three or more).
First Person Dual
Used when the speaker and one other person perform an action.
