Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To say 'the most' in Swedish, add '-ast' to the adjective and always use the definite article.
- Add -ast to the base adjective: 'snabb' becomes 'snabbast'.
- Always use the definite article 'den', 'det', or 'de' before the superlative.
- If the adjective ends in -a, just add -st: 'bra' becomes 'bäst'.
