• Indefinite Pronouns: Something, Anything, Nothing, Everyone

  Use something/someone in positive sentences, anything/anyone in questions and negatives, nothing/no one when the meaning is already negative.
• Too, Too Much, Too Many & Enough

  Too means more than needed (negative); enough means the right amount. Use too much with uncountable nouns and too many with countable nouns.
• Agreeing with So and Neither: "So am I" / "Neither do I"

  Use So + auxiliary + subject to agree with a positive statement and Neither + auxiliary + subject to agree with a negative statement.
• Connectors: However, Although, While, Before & After

  Connectors link ideas together. However and although show contrast; before, after, when, and while show time relationships.

  Prepositions of movement describe how something or someone moves in relation to a place or object.
• Confusing Phrases: On Time vs. In Time / At the End vs. In the End

  On time means punctual (not late). In time means with enough time to spare. At the end refers to the final point of something. In the end means finally, after a process.
• A2 Question Forms: Subject Questions & Questions with Prepositions

  Subject questions ask about the subject (no auxiliary needed). Questions with prepositions move the preposition to the end in informal English.
• Most, Most of & The Most: Expressing the Largest Amount

  Most means the majority in general. Most of refers to a specific group. The most is used for superlatives.
• No Longer & Not Anymore: Talking About Things That Have Stopped

  No longer and

  not anymore/any more

  both mean something used to happen but has stopped. No longer is more formal and goes before the main verb.
• Auxiliary Verbs: Do, Be & Have in Questions and Negatives

  Do, be, and have work as auxiliary (helping) verbs to form questions, negatives, and tenses. They carry tense while the main verb stays in base form.
