Tajik Persian (Tajiki) uses similar structures but might be influenced by Russian social norms, making the introduction slightly more direct. In the diaspora (e.g., Los Angeles), the phrase is often used as a direct translation of the English 'Tell me about yourself', sometimes losing the traditional Ta'arof nuances.
