Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Khmer, adjectives almost always follow the noun they describe, unlike in English.
- Place the adjective directly after the noun: 'House big' (ផ្ទះធំ).
- If using a quantifier, the order is Noun + Adjective + Quantifier.
- Adjectives do not change form based on gender or number.
