Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

To say you won't do something, add the negative suffix '-e' or '-alla' to the verb root.

  • Use the verb root + 'e' for first-person singular: 'naanu hoguvudilla' (I will not go).
  • Use the negative particle 'alla' for general future negation: 'adu aguvudilla' (it will not happen).
