Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Use 'bu' for things near you and 'o' for things further away to point out objects or people.

  • Use 'bu' for items close to the speaker: Bu kitab (This book).
  • Use 'o' for items far from the speaker: O kitab (That book).
  • These pronouns do not change based on gender, only distance.
