Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Make any noun plural by adding -lar or -lər based on the last vowel of the word.
- Use -lar if the last vowel is a, ı, o, u (e.g., kitab -> kitablar).
- Use -lər if the last vowel is e, ə, i, ö, ü (e.g., qələm -> qələmlər).
- The suffix never changes its consonant, only the vowel based on vowel harmony.
