Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the postposition 'qədər' after a noun or pronoun to express that two things are equal in quantity or quality.
- Place 'qədər' directly after the noun: 'Mən sənin qədər oxuyuram' (I study as much as you).
- Use it for physical size: 'Bu ev o ev qədər böyükdür' (This house is as big as that one).
- Combine with negatives for 'not as... as': 'O, mənim qədər sürətli deyil' (He is not as fast as me).
