Distinguishing 'Този' vs. 'Онзи'
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'Този' for things close to you and 'Онзи' for things further away.
- Use 'Този' (this) for objects or people near the speaker: 'Този стол' (this chair).
- Use 'Онзи' (that) for objects or people far from the speaker: 'Онзи стол' (that chair).
- Both words must match the gender and number of the noun they describe.
