Forming Information Questions (Gdje? Kada? Zašto?)
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To ask for information in Croatian, place the question word at the very beginning of your sentence.
- Start with the question word: 'Gdje' (Where) + 'je' (is) + 'kava' (coffee)?
- Keep the verb close to the question word in simple sentences.
- Intonation rises at the end of the question, just like in English.
