Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the '-re' suffix on the past stem to express hypothetical 'if' conditions in Kannada.
- Add '-re' to the past stem: 'bandare' (if [he/she/they] came).
- Negative forms use 'idde' + 're': 'baradiddare' (if [he/she/they] did not come).
- The result clause follows the condition: 'If X happens, Y will happen'.
