The 'Bridge' Rule

Whenever you see 'Н', visualize a bridge connecting two shores. Bridge = N. This stops you from saying 'H'.

Don't pronounce 'Р' like the English 'R' (which is in the back of the throat). It's a flick of the tongue behind the teeth.

Russians rarely write in block letters. If you see handwriting that looks like 'uuuuu', that's just normal cursive! Stick to block letters for now.
