Negative Past Tense with -ku-
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To say you didn't do something in the past, replace the tense marker with 'ku'.
- Remove the affirmative past tense marker (-li-).
- Insert the negative marker 'ha-' before the subject prefix.
- Insert the infix '-ku-' between the subject prefix and the verb root.
