Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Tamil divides nouns into two groups: 'Rational' (humans/deities) and 'Irrational' (everything else), which changes how you conjugate verbs.
- Use Uyar-tinai for humans and gods: 'அவன் வந்தான்' (He came).
- Use Ak-tinai for animals and objects: 'அது வந்தது' (It came).
