Use the imperfective aspect to describe actions in progress, repeated habits, or general facts without focusing on the final result.
- Use for ongoing actions: Я читав книгу (I was reading a book).
- Use for repeated habits: Я щодня ходжу в парк (I go to the park every day).

Meanings
The imperfective aspect focuses on the internal process of an action, its duration, or its repetition, rather than its completion or result.
Ongoing Process
Actions happening over a period of time.
