To make a Persian verb negative, simply add the prefix 'na-' (نَ) or 'ne-' (نِ) to the beginning of the verb.

  • Add 'na-' to most verbs: 'mi-ravam' (I go) becomes 'na-mi-ravam' (I don't go).
