Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Slovak adjectives must match the gender and number of the noun they describe.
- Masculine nouns use -ý: 'pekný chlapec' (a nice boy).
- Feminine nouns use -á: 'pekná žena' (a nice woman).
- Neuter nouns use -é: 'pekné dieťa' (a nice child).
