Thai years use the Buddhist Era (BE), which is 543 years ahead of the Gregorian calendar.
- Use 'ปี' (bpii) before the year number: 'ปี 2567' (Year 2567).
- To convert Gregorian to Thai, add 543: 2024 + 543 = 2567.
- For past years, use 'ปีที่แล้ว' (last year) or 'ปี' + number.
