Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'Това' to point at things near you; it is the Bulgarian equivalent of 'this' or 'that' for neutral objects.
- Use 'Това' for singular neutral nouns: Това е стол (This is a chair).
- Use 'Този' for masculine nouns: Този човек (This man).
- Use 'Тази' for feminine nouns: Тази жена (This woman).

Proximal pointing
Identifying an object close to the speaker.
