Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
When adding the prefix 'me-' to a verb starting with P, T, K, or S, the first letter is replaced by a nasal sound.
- P becomes M: 'pukul' (hit) becomes 'memukul'.
- T becomes N: 'tulis' (write) becomes 'menulis'.
- K becomes NG: 'karang' (compose) becomes 'mengarang'.

시각적 연상
Imagine a 'me-' prefix as a vacuum cleaner. When it hits a P, T, K, or S, it sucks the letter away and replaces it with a nasal sound.
Rhyme
P becomes M, T becomes N, K becomes NG, S becomes NY again.
Story
Pukul (hit) was a bully. He met the 'me-' prefix. 'Me-' said, 'You are too sharp!' and turned him into 'Memukul'. Now he is a smooth, active verb.
