Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Bulgarian, dates always use masculine ordinal numbers (1st, 2nd) and the preposition 'на' to say 'on' a specific day.
- Use masculine ordinals for days: 'първи' (1st), 'втори' (2nd), because 'ден' (day) is masculine.
- Months are always lowercase: 'януари', 'февруари', 'март'.
- Use 'на' for specific dates: 'Роден съм на десети май' (I was born on May 10th).

Smart Tips
Don't say 'едно'. Say 'първи'. Think of it as 'the first day'.
Check your Shift key! Unless it's the start of a sentence, keep it lowercase.
Switch 'на' to 'през'. 'На' is for a point, 'през' is for a period.
Only the last digit needs to be an ordinal. 2024 -> 2020 and 4th.
