Present Conditional (Kdybych)
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'kdybych' to express hypothetical situations or wishes by combining the particle 'by' with the past tense verb.
- Use 'by' particles (bych, bys, by, bychom, byste, by) with the past tense verb.
- The particle 'by' usually follows the first stressed word in the clause.
- For negative sentences, add 'ne-' to the beginning of the verb (e.g., 'nešel bych').
