Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Kazakh, we don't use a verb for 'is'; we attach a personal suffix to the noun instead.
- Use personal suffixes for identity: 'Men student-pin' (I am a student).
- For third person, no suffix is needed: 'Ol muğalim' (He/she is a teacher).
- Use 'emes' for negation: 'Men student emespin' (I am not a student).
